Program goals:

  1. Teach children the love of Jesus and encourage them to be true disciples who love God with their heart, mind, and soul
  2. Enhance Resiliency- by helping children, establishing nurturing and supportive connections, nurturing a positive view of self, reaching self-care and teaching problem solving skills.
  3. Provide Leadership Opportunities for Community Youth- by helping children develop an ability to recognize their own strengths and "sparks" (40 Developmental Assets), assist youth in setting and achieving personal goals, build self-esteem, build confidence, and establish personal motivation.
  4. Provide a Safe and Nurturing Place free from Stress and Violence- by developing a culture of acceptance, setting appropriate boundaries, giving children time and attention, modeling love and peace by teaching children how to handle conflict appropriately. We are committed to creating and ANTI-bullying environment. Those bullying others will be immediately dismissed.

Other Programs

What's a MakerSpace? Great Question:
A maker space is a collaborative workspace inside a school, library or separate public/private facility for making, learning, exploring and sharing that uses high tech to no tech tools.

The 40 Developmental Assets:

The Search Institute identified 40 assets that children need to have in order to thrive and become healthy, contributing members of society. Those are called the 40 Developmental Assets and we strive to incorporate those into all our programming -- "to kids from 1 - 92".
