Every day, we help our neighbors in need on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We offer unique, local programs, designed to meet the specific needs of each community we serve.

Christmas Assistance

The Salvation Army recognizes that holidays can bring added financial and emotional stress for families in need. We offer a variety of services to help families and individuals make it through more difficult holiday seasons. Learn More Here

 Help Disaster Survivors

When disaster strikes, The Salvation Army responds quickly, mobilizing its officers, employees, and volunteers wherever needed to immediately and effectively provide emergency services to victims and emergency responders. Learn More Here

Center's of Hope

At The Salvation Army, when it comes to families needing help with food insecurity or housing - Along with meeting immediate physical needs, these establishments provide educational, counseling and vocational services to help develop vital life skills and independence for re-entry into society. Learn More Here

Cold Weather Shelter

The Salvation Army provides shelter to anyone in need when it is 40 degrees if precipitation is present, or 35 degrees and below without precipitation.  We take the low wind chill factor into consideration.

Pathway of Hope

Through involvement with Pathway of Hope, families will be introduced to both Salvation Army and other services that are available within their community that offer a network of support, a sense of community, holistic programs, and spiritual guidance.
