Welcoming Our New Jones Family Residence Director: Aubrey Reyes
We are excited to welcome Aubrey Reyes as the new Director of the Jones Family Residence! Aubrey brings a wealth of experience and a passion for community service that will greatly benefit our organization and the families we serve.
Early in her career, Aubrey earned her bachelor’s degree in education and taught middle school mathematics. Her dedication to education led her to work with Texas A&M as a college counselor, where she assisted high school students in researching and applying to colleges that align with their career goals. Driven by a desire to provide comprehensive support, she furthered her education by earning a master's degree in social work.
Aubrey's experience in the mental health field is extensive. She has worked with The Harris Center and The Women’s Home, where she provided counseling, facilitated support groups, and developed solutions for at-risk populations experiencing homelessness, domestic violence, mental health issues, and substance abuse disorders.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Aubrey enjoys traveling and has explored various places including Mexico, Japan, Colorado, Chicago, Austin, California, Florida, and her hometown in the Philippines. She loves outdoor activities, frequently hiking with her four dogs, island hopping, and skiing.
We are thrilled to have Aubrey join our team, and we look forward to the positive impact she will have on the Jones Family Residence and the community. Please join us in welcoming her!
