Volunteer Appreciation Week: Thank You for Being the Heart of Our Mission
At The Salvation Army of Greater Houston, we believe that volunteers are the heart of our mission. Each moment of your time, each ounce of your energy, and each act of kindness you give brings us closer to our goal: to serve those in need with love, compassion, and dignity.
Our Volunteer Coordinator, Kimberly, took time to travel around Houston to personally thank and celebrate some of our incredible volunteers. From food pantries to community events, shelters to outreach programs, our volunteers are there, quietly and faithfully making a difference.
Their smiles, their servant hearts, and their willingness to go the extra mile remind us every day that hope is shared through people; people like YOU.
