Power Up Vacation Bible School: A Week of Fun and Faith
A week filled with joy, discovery, and spiritual growth, as participants learned how to power up their lives with the Bible, prayer, and faith...
The Salvation Army of Greater Houston Northwest Corps was buzzing with excitement as our children and teens gathered for the Power Up Vacation Bible School! It was a week filled with joy, discovery, and spiritual growth, as participants learned how to power up their lives with the Bible, prayer, and faith.
From the moment the doors opened, it was clear this was going to be an unforgettable experience. The kids dove into a range of activities designed to bring the scriptures to life, with games, crafts, and interactive lessons that kept everyone engaged and eager to learn. Each day was packed with fun and fellowship, as the children not only made new friends but also deepened their understanding of the Word of God.
The theme of “Powering Up” resonated throughout the week, as we focused on teaching the importance of prayer, the strength that comes from faith, and the wisdom found in the Bible. These essential tools are helping our young participants build a strong spiritual foundation that will guide them in their daily lives.
But it wasn’t just about learning; it was about balancing all that spiritual growth with some serious fun! Whether it was outdoor games, creative projects, or group activities, we made sure that every moment was filled with energy and excitement.
The Power Up Vacation Bible School was an amazing time for everyone involved, and we are so grateful to our dedicated volunteers, teachers, staff and officers who made it possible. Your hard work and passion for sharing the love of Christ have left a lasting impact on our children and teens.
Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this event—we couldn’t have done it without you!
