Love in action at the Jones Family Residence!
In a heartfelt celebration of compassion and community, The Salvation Army’s Jones Family Residence welcomed an inspiring group of partners for a special Galentine’s Day Drive dedicated to families transitioning into permanent housing.
We were honored to host Joe Mixon, the VanVleet Family Foundation, The Chosen Foundation, Ryan’s Family Foundation, and BMW of Houston, whose generosity brought encouragement and practical support to residents embarking on new beginnings.
Through their thoughtful move-out gift donations, these partners helped ensure that each family leaving the residence for permanent housing have essential items. The initiative transformed a routine transition into a moment of celebration, dignity, and hope during the month of love.
Beyond the immediate impact, this collaboration marks the beginning of a promising partnership focused on strengthening pathways out of homelessness for families in Greater Houston. Shared values of stability, empowerment, and opportunity unite these organizations with The Salvation Army’s mission.
We extend our deepest gratitude to each foundation and corporate partner for showing up with compassion and purpose. Their presence at the Jones Family Residence was more than a one-day event, it was a commitment to walk alongside families as they build brighter futures.
As we look ahead, The Salvation Army of Greater Houston is excited to continue growing this partnership to expand resources, celebrate milestones, and uplift more families on their journey to stable housing.
