Farewell Fiesta for Majors Rob & Carolynn Webb
At The Salvation Army, it is tradition for officers to be reassigned after several years of service following God’s call to new places where their leadership and love are needed most. Recently, the Houston Area Command staff came together to say a fond and emotional farewell to our Area Commanders, Majors Rob and Carolynn Webb, as they prepare for their next chapter in ministry.
To honor their time in Houston, the team hosted a Farewell Fiesta, filled with heartfelt gratitude, joy, and a few tears. The Webbs have served our community with unwavering dedication, compassion, and Christ-like leadership, leaving a lasting impact on staff, volunteers, and the people we serve.
The event was beautifully hosted by Major Linda, who presented the Webbs with a staff-signed card and a photo album capturing special moments from their years with us, memories that reflect their deep commitment and the love they poured into our mission.
As the celebration came to a close, the Majors shared parting words that moved many to tears, a reminder of the strong bonds formed through service and faith.
While we will miss their presence deeply, we are excited for all that lies ahead for Majors Rob and Carolynn Webb as they continue doing the Lord’s work wherever He leads them next.
Thank you, Majors Webb, for your faithful service to Houston. You will always be part of our Salvation Army family.
