EARNEST'S STORY
As we celebrate National Black History Month, we celebrate local neighbors like Earnest who positively impact our city.
When Earnest joined The Salvation Army, he wanted to be a beacon of hope and love for those who needed it most.
He helped Veterans through job search and job placement before becoming the Director of our Center Of Hope.
“I knew it was something inside of me that I wanted to help. I wanted to be a beacon of light. I wanted to be that smile that a person maybe never had or may be missing. And I saw an opening, The Salvation Army.”
