Stuff the Bus 2019

Walmart and The Salvation Army are joining forces to provide new school supplies to local children in need during the “Stuff the Bus” campaign event at Walmart locations throughout the country on August 3rd.

As a nationwide collaboration between Walmart and The Salvation Army, nearly 3,000 “Stuff the Bus” campaign events will be taking place at Walmart stores across the country on August 3, 2019. In-store shoppers can simply purchase needed school supplies and drop them off at The Salvation Army collection bins located at the front of each store.

Walmart and The Salvation Army have collaborated for more than 30 years in an effort to meet local community needs. Supporters like Walmart help The Salvation Army serve more than 23 million Americans each year through a range of social services, helping them overcome poverty and economic hardships.

If you can’t make it to a Walmart store on Aug. 3, there is a searchable online registry on Walmart.com. Through the online registry you can view the most requested items for your area, purchase the items you would like to donate, and they’ll be shipped directly to your local Salvation Army! The donated items will be distributed to local children in need. To find your local Salvation Army’s Walmart registry, click here and search for “The Salvation Army” in your state.
