The Women of Grace in Action Gala was a celebration of meeting our goal for our Center of Hope renovation project on April 7th at the New Orleans Museum of Art, which was hosted in the Nefertari Exhibit.
The event honored our first ‘Woman of Grace’, Gayle Benson.

For the families living in transitional housing at the Center of Hope, comfort is about to take on a whole new meaning. The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary is currently in the midst of a $200,000 capital campaign to renovate and update 20 apartments that give respite to daily challenges for families in our area when they need it most.
We want to continue to provide families in need that safe, comfortable space until they are able to find their permanent home. In order to do this we have set a goal of $200,000.00. Your financial support for these renovations will ensure we are able to continue ‘Doing the Most Good’ for those in our community who need it most.
