Christmas shoppers encouraged to give to iconic Red Kettles on final days of annual bell ringing campaign
Shoppers in Logansport will have twice the reason to give to Salvation Army Red Kettles in final days before Christmas thanks to a Christmas gift from Cole Hardwood. All cash donations put into Red Kettles December 19-24 will be doubled up to $5,000 because of this generous matching gift. This means that every $10 turns into $20 and has twice the impact on the services provided to the community.
The Salvation Army has responded to the increased needs of Cass County residents in recent years, providing a daily feeding program that ensures those facing food insecurity can still get regular, home-cooked meals. The funds raised by Red Kettles each fall help to ensure that The Salvation Army can continue to meet the needs of struggling residents while providing regular programming and services to people of all ages the community.
"I would like to thank our partners from Cole Hardwood for their support of a $5,000 matching gift," shared Major Marlys Anderson of The Salvation Army Logansport Corps. "They are helping us meet the needs of our community in Cass County. Their donation will be a huge incentive for others to give and will assist us in making the lives of those we assist a little brighter during this holiday season. Thank you so much to everyone at Cole Hardwood for your love and compassion for others."
