Loneliness is a serious problem that no medicine can cure. This is evident in hospitals, convalescent and nursing homes, correctional institutions, veteran’s medical centers and children’s homes. The Salvation Army formed Community Care to help alleviate such suffering.

Community Care is a visitation program on Tuesdays and Thursdays that connects volunteers and Salvation Army officers and soldiers to those with these special needs.

Contact the Corps Officer at 256-536-5576  ext. 18 for scheduling.
