Brunetta Thomas, 40, was filled with joy Friday afternoon!
Thomas and her two children ages 14 and 6 have been homeless throughout the summer. Compounding Thomas’ troubles, she recently experienced the death of a loved one in her immediate family June. “Thomas is resilient, hard-working, kind, and a caring mother” said Kelsi Tippery, Salvation Army Counselor. Thomas recently started a new job and is expected to move into a new home in September. A new set of beds will make for the perfect housewarming gift for the family in need.
Thomas also received a year’s worth of barbecue, thanks to Dickey’s BBQ!
Thomas’ life is turning around thanks to The Salvation Army and its community partners!
