The Salvation Army is distributing bags of groceries to residents of Jefferson County every Wednesday and Thursday at the Center of Hope. The drive-through food distribution is designed to limit contact and still provide much-needed food assistance to those in need of groceries.
“We hope the new guidelines allowing households to seek food assistance as often as needed will help our hungry neighbors,” says Major Charles Powell. “As many households face financial uncertainty, we want them to know that The Salvation Army is here to help meet their needs.”
