Area Commanders Host Hydration Station in Bessemer

(Bessemer, AL)- Area Commanders and Corps Officers, Majors Robert and Karen Lyle, hosted pop-up hydration stations in the city of Bessemer, Alabama, to help neighbors beat the heat.

With Central Alabama temperatures in the mid 90’s, and the heat index in the triple digits, the Majors mobilized to provide refreshments in the downtown area.

As cars traveled the one-way, Majors Lyle waved and handed cold waters to drivers and passersby as they made their way through downtown.

The Majors say they will continue to provide hydration stations throughout the area to help combat the extremely hot weather conditions.
