Our new Area Commander, Major Bob Parker, was able to accept his first check today…and what a check it was. Thank you to Jack’s Family Restaurants for their incredible donation of $81,940 for our tornado relief efforts. The “Circle of Hope” campaign has been Jack’s way of giving back to those that lost so many after the April 27th tornado. It was an initiative formed to benefit and support the The Salvation Army and The Red Cross disaster relief efforts to help rebuild lives in the 39 counties affected by this disaster. Every Jack’s in Alabama has been receiving donations since late April with the company matching up to $100,000. In the end they raised $163,880, with half of the proceeds going to The Red Cross and their relief efforts. We also thank the public for caring and taking the time to donate at each location around the state. Glad so many people like their food. Thanks again. More pictures.
