Baton Rouge, LA (October 6, 2015) – The Salvation Army of Greater Baton Rouge’s Angle Tree Giving Program assists families in need each year at Christmas. Individuals and families can apply for assistance through the Social Services program of The Salvation Army. Last year, the Angel Tree Program provided more than 29,000 gifts of new clothing and toys to 4,023 children right here in the Greater Baton Rouge Area, who otherwise would have received little or nothing for Christmas. The Salvation Army also assists families and Senior Citizens at Christmas with food baskets for the entire family.
