    The Salvation Army Family Store

    Volunteers are needed to help organize and sort through items donated such as clothing, furniture, shoes, books, home décor and more.

     Open Monday-Saturday 8:30 am -5:15 pm. Volunteers welcome anytime.

    Administrative Office Work

    Volunteers are needed occasionally throughout the year to help with a variety of office duties.   These duties may include computer work, making calls, organization of can foods, sorting t-shirts, mail outs, etc.

    Center of Hope

    Our men and women’s shelter is always looking for volunteers to help serve hot meals.

    Breakfast is served from 6:00am- 7:00am and Dinner is from 5:00pm- 6:30pm daily.

    Volunteers could also assist in cleaning.

     

     

    Nov. 12th – December 24th        “Red Kettle Campaign”

    The “Red Kettle Campaign” is the iconic feature of The Salvation Army that is loved by people all over the world. Thousands of volunteers are needed to help “ring our bells”. Churches, sports groups, businesses and families are encouraged to give some time at our “Red Kettles” to help support our efforts in the community.

     

    December 3rd – 21st     “Tom Kelly Toy Shop”

    As the community gives to support our “Angel Tree” program, thousands of gifts pour into the Jackson Corps. Hundreds of volunteers are needed to help sort, package and prepare those gifts for the “Angel Tree” recipients.

     

    December 18th – 19th       “Angel Tree Distribution Day”

    Thousands of “Angel Tree” recipients will arrive on these days 3 pm-9 pm to pick up their toys. Literally hundreds of volunteers are needed to make this day a success.

    December 20th “Senior Angel Distribution Day”

    Hundreds of senior citizens “Angels” will arrive to pick up their gifts.  Volunteers are needed to assist with this specially focused distribution day from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
