Angel Tree 2012
The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas assistance to families in financial need with children ages 0-12 (by Christmas day 2012) or senior adults age 60+. Angel Tree Gifts are not guaranteed!
If you live in Hinds, Rankin, Scott, Copiah, or Madison County, you can apply for Angel Tree assistance with The Salvation Army.
2012 REGISTRATION DATES AND TIMES
October 8th - October 12th (M-F) 9:00 - 3:00
October 15th – October 19th (M-F) 9:00 - 3:00
Location: 110 Presto Lane, Jackson MS 39206 (Chapel)
The first 100 people will be admitted in the morning session and the first 100 people will be admitted for the afternoon session.
DO NOT BRING CHILDREN TO REGISTRATION
DOCUMENTATION REQUIREMENTS
Requirements to register children 12 yrs old and younger:
You must bring:
1. State issued Picture ID (for yourself. You must be the parents or have proof you are the legal guardian).
2. Birth certificate (original or certified copy only from Vital Records – no photocopies) for each child being registered that shows date of birth and parents. Only the parent on the birth certificate may able for assistance. If you are the legal guardian, please provide proof of guardianship.
3. Proof of your current address (must be within the past month; electric bill, tax return, lease, etc.).
4. Proof of income for everyone in the household (must be recent, within the past month paycheck, award letter, food stamps(SNAP), AFDC (TANF), Social Security, Unemployment, 2011 Income Tax statement..if paid in cash, must have proof on official letterhead or notarized letter from employer).
5. Proof of your monthly household expenses.
6. If you are pregnant and your baby is due before January 1st, then you may register the baby -IF you bring proof of your due date.
7. If you live with someone, you must bring a letter from the person, their proof of residency, their proof of income and their household expenses.

You may only sign up for The Salvation Army Angel Tree/Toy Shop program if you have not registered for Christmas assistance from another agency.
Senior Angel Requirements (over 60):
You must bring:
