More than 250 teens attended the last night of the Why W.A.I.T program as Governor Phil Bryant encouraged the teens to live a life of purpose. The 5 week program gave teens the opportunity to listen, learn, and share their thoughts and experiences on teen pregnancy.

The Salvation Army has partnered with the Governor on his initiative “Teens For A Healthy Mississippi”. Captain Ken Chapman encouraged the teens to not let the pressures of the world destroy them but to let the love of God fill them with power and hope to overcome the tribulations of the world.

Many of the teens made a commitment to live a life of purpose and make intentional choices to be all that God created them to be!
