Center of Hope Operations
Emergency Shelter
(Picture ID is required to stay at the C.O.H)
Clients can stay up to 7 consecutive days for free in the Emergency Shelter.
The C.O.H. is closed Monday – Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. All residences have to be out by 7:30am. The Shelter opens back up at 4:00 pm.
The Emergency Shelter is closed Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The Emergency Shelter curfew is 6:30pm.
While staying at the C.O.H. you must attend the mandatory meetings during the week.
Monday Night – Financial Class / Bible Study [alternating Mondays] (6:00 pm)
Tuesday Night – Celebrate Recovery (6:00 pm)
Thursday Night – Bible Study and Men and Women’s Club (6:00 pm)
Sunday Morning – Worship Service (8:00 am)
(If you work pass curfew or work during one of the mandatory meetings you must have proof of being at work; ex. signed note from a supervisor w/ phone # , a time slip which is usually printed out if you work at a restaurant or a work schedule.)
Meals Served during the week.
Monday – Friday: Breakfast (6:30 am) and Dinner (5:00 pm)
Saturday: Breakfast (6:30 am) and Dinner (5:30 pm)
Sunday: Breakfast (6:30 am), Lunch (12:00 pm), and Dinner (5:00 pm)
All residents are required to take a breathalyzer whenever they come into the building, if they can not pass it then they are immediately terminated from the shelter. Drug tests are also required to stay at the C.O.H. if a resident fails a drug test they are terminated from the shelter. (C.O.H. has a ZERO TOLERANCE Drug and Alcohol Policy)
While staying at the C.O.H all residences are expected to do chores and if they can not then they will be dismissed from the shelter.
All medication must be turned in at the front desk at the time of admission, failing to do so could result in the residence’s stay being terminated at the Center of Hope.
